DIALOGUES BETWEEN ART AND NATURE, AND POETICS OF DISTANCES: PENINSULAS AND OTHER LANDSCAPES OF DEVIATION
This research analyzes relations and dialogues between art and nature, seeking meetings with characters, matters, sensations, temporalities, and other aspects and singularities of what we might momentarily call life. Through field research, it proposes to meet living beings, vegetables, animals, and minerals of various species by approaching behaviors, rhythms, movements, cycles, and singularities which those beings possess. By stimulating conversations between participants, human and non-human, from relation between art and nature, it intends, therefore, to research and experiment dynamics of creation and to introduce artistic methodologies and practices which might be explored within and beyond the academic ambient, in order to activate a pedagogy of perception from what is sensorial and symbolic, experimented in meetings and situations experienced, in their particularities of living realities to be approximated. The tenor of displacements and attentive looking and hearing practices are, within this project, active participants in the making of art.
