Research Project

ENVIRONMENTAL SCULPTURE

This research proposes an approximation between agroecology and site-specific practices in art, with an emphasis on agroforests. Considering the production of food as one of the human activities which most impacts the planet, our digestive system is seen from its sculptural potency: What we eat molds the landscape in which we live. Part of the investigation is dedicated to the quest of forms of artistic engagement which are not dependent on exhibitions and their limited duration, proposing formats and temporalities that take into account their sustainability.
